It’s been a few months since I last set myself an InfoBarrel challenge. I’m not setting myself a timeline on this challenge, because I know that I will probably not be able to keep up to it. My next challenge is to write 100 articles promoting downloadable digital products, one of the biggest pluses writing articles for Infobarrel is that the signature box is in a prime location to getting lots and lots of clicks.

You only need to make a few digital product sales each month to increase your info barrel earning potential by hundreds of dollars. The plus side to this as well, is if readers don’t click on your affiliate links, they are likely to click on another ads which again will make you money. If you look around Info Barrel lots of writers are now taking advantage of this and promoting affiliate products in their signature.

You will notice that some of them have images, but this is against Info Barrels terms so I would stay well clear of having banner images in your signature. InfoBarrel recently stated that they have disabled the ability to add images, but it is still possible because quite a few of the top writers are still displaying images in their signatures. Personally I am sticking to the terms, because I don’t want to be editing my signatures later down the road, when all that shows up is web code.

Anyway back to this months challenge, I have already began the challenge and I’m 3 articles in so far. I’ve started promoting Clickbank products in my signatures, because the commission is usually very high, anything below 50% commission is considered poor if you are selling your products through Clickbank. Clickbank have so many different products to promote, I am going to be concentrating on products that fix problems. Most of the top selling products on Clickbank are usually the latest Internet Marketing releases, but these are coming out weekly. So these products quickly go out of date, meaning they are harder to sell years down the line.

One thing I will not be doing, is promoting the product in the article. I will produce articles that give advice on a subject, and promote products in my signature relating to this niche. This method as been around for years now and the bottom line is, it works. Especially on more authority sites such as Ezinearticles. I’m an expert author on Ezine and I am still making commissions because it works.

I am just using Ezine for back links now though, and using revenue sharing websites such as InfoBarrel to grow my online income. I plan on back linking each article I write using, dofollow blog commenting, article directory submissions and social bookmarking. My plan is to write these 100 articles within the next few months and find out what revenue they can add to my InfoBarrel monthly income.

Oh and before I forget my adsense earnings for the month of September so far has increased and I am on target for my biggest earning month so far whilst writing for Info Barrel. Long may it continue!

The month of August was bad for me earnings wise, my adsense earnings dropped by nearly 50%. Even though I managed to add quite a few article to my account. The month of august is always a bad month for online advertising so I’m expecting this to pick up in September.

I really want to start seeing my earnings grow and at the moment the only way I see of achieving this is by going on a back linking frenzy. My plan is to create hundreds of back-links pointing back to my best performing InfoBarrel articles. The method of back linking I will be doing for this back link frenzy is social bookmarking, blog commenting and article directory submissions.

My plan is to create hundreds of back links and having looked at some of the competition in google for keywords that I’m targeting it is not going to take that many backlinks to start ranking on the first page of google. Most of my InfoBarrel articles are written for buyer traffic, by doing this I have been able to achieve a CTR OF 5%+. Which is OK in my opinion, the only thing stopping me getting more clicks is my traffic. So the month of September I’m hoping to change this by getting first page ranking, by creating backlinks.

To be honest with you, I have hardly been doing any back linking to my InfoBarrel articles so far, but if you are a regular forum user on InfoBarrel, you will notice that the big earners on InfoBarrel are the members who back link their articles. Making money with InfoBarrel is a numbers game, the more articles you have the more money you are likely to make. But the number of backlinks pointing back to these articles, is much more important than simply throwing up a thousand InfoBarrel articles.

To get the highest adsense earnings that you can, you really do need to score over 30 points each month to increase your adsense share up to a whopping 90%. The easiest, quickest and smartest way to do this is by writing six 1000 word articles. Think of these articles as your must do jobs for InfoBarrel each month. I know six articles a month doesn’t sound like much, but trust me it soon mounts up and the beauty of writing these longer articles is you have the ability to get in plenty of keyword phrases without making it look like keyword stuffing to the search engines.

I will keep you all updated on my progress, good luck with your Info Barrel writing!

One of the owners of InfoBarrel Ryan as decided to start up an project which he’s calling The InfoBarrel Transparency Project. What he plans on doing, is showing you step by step how to start making money from your InfoBarrel articles.

His plan is to start up a new Infobarrel account and post around 20 to 50 articles each month to the site using this new account. Then on his personal blog he will disclose everything that he has done in terms of backlinks and the money he his earning from these InfoBarrel articles. He’s in the middle of getting this blog re-skinned to look more professional so I will update the post with a link to his blog in the near future. So that you can follow his progress and pick up some hints and tips on how to start making money from your InfoBarrel articles.

Ryan’s aim is to get this InfoBarrel account earning in excess of $1000 per months in just 3 short months. If he can achieve this, this is really going to open the floodgates to thousands of new InfoBarrel members who want to start making passive revenue from writing articles online.

Ryan plans on going after the low hanging fruit, which is easier to rank for which means more traffic and more income. I really like the idea of him documenting his progress on his own personal blog and it shows that he not only wants the website to succeed for him, but its members as well. I’m really looking forward to following his progress and hopefully picking up somes hints and tips that I can start using on my own Infobarrel articles to increase my monthly revenue.

I’ve been slowly adding articles to InfoBarrel again and I’m getting close to reaching the 300 article mark now. But, what have I learnt so far? Well I’ve learnt that my shorter articles which range from the 350 to 450 word count, have not been getting as many view. My 500 word count articles, seem to get the most views. I have got about a dozen 1000 word plus size articles, which again seem to get lots of views.

But writing 1000+ word articles, though is a little bit too time consuming for me at the moment. I am only going to right this size of article, when I find fantastic keywords with low competition in the search engines. The month of July has come to an end and my Infobarrel earnings are up from June, but they are still slightly down from May. This is probably down to me not continuously adding new articles to Infobarrel and my revenue share being down due to me not hitting the 30 point score target on InfoBarrel.

I only started writing for InfoBarrel again at the middle of the month, after a month’s lay off and this has really eaten into my total articles published count.

My next Infobarrel goal is to get to 500 published articles and join the small group of people who have already achieved it. I really haven’t spent any time back linking my Infobarrel articles. But when I get to around 500 InfoBarrel articles, I plan on going back and working on back linking my better performing articles.

I’ve been a member on Infobarrel since the beginning of the year and I have already noticed that the website has grown immensely in such a short time period. The Infobarrel writers who stick at it and keep writing articles are going to reap the benefits in years to come. Hopefully I am going to be one of them. Setting yourself a goal is a fantastic way to ensure that you keep writing articles. My overall aim is to get my published articles into the thousands.

If you are thinking about joining Infobarrel to plan on making lots of cash straight away, forget about it. Infobarrel is a long term thing, I’m hoping by xmas to get my Infobarrel income into the hundreds. But my first goal is to get to 500 articles, then start work on some serious back linking.

This is my first blog post on Barrels Of Cash for several weeks now and I have really missed the place, its the summer time in the UK and I’ve been hitting the golf course. Life is all about doing what makes you happy and playing golf certainly does it for me. My article writing has grounded to an halt over this period and it has shown in my InfoBarrel Earnings. My InfoBarrel Income dropped by around 25% in June.

InfoBarrel is such a great website to write for and I know if I keep adding articles to the website on a regular basis my InfoBarrel income has only got one thing to do and that is GROW. To make it grow I need to keep writing articles. Yesterday I slowly started writing InfoBarrel articles again and published two.

What I have decided to do is, I am going to write my next 100 InfoBarrel articles based on the same category. The reason I have done this is, its a tremendous time saver and like I have mentioned many times before you need to experiment with your InfoBarrel articles and try to find out what works best at getting web traffic and more importantly high paying clicks.

Yesterday I gathered my 100 Infobarrel articles titles using the fantastic Micro Niche Finder keyword tool. This tool is fantastic and it has paid for itself many times over now. The bonus of writing batches of articles in the same category is it is so much quicker to find all your required keywords.

Another bonus as well is, its much easier to add Infobarrel links to other articles, which helps with SEO which gives you more web traffic which means more money made from your InfoBarrel articles.

I’m hoping to get all these 100 articles finished my the month of August, I could do it a lot quicker if I put my mind to it. But like I said earlier I enjoy playing golf, which is eating into a large percentage of my free time. Each article will be around 500 words in length, this is because it is much easier and quicker to create your articles .

Lots of InfoBarrel writers swear my only writing articles 1000 words in length. Ultimately, this is probably going to get them more web traffic. But can you imagine the time and research that go’s into these articles. Don’t get me wrong you should never write garbage articles on InfoBarrel. Aim to write articles that will give the readers exactly what they are searching for. For example, if you are writing an article about Applying Eyeliner. Get your point across, and tell the reader exactly how to do it. If the article is only 400 words in length, if you have told the reader what they need to know then you have done your job and wrote an article that is valuable to InfoBarrel and you.

These are exciting times for InfoBarrel writers and I’m so glad that I am a part of it, before it all kicks off and the website becomes as huge as hubpages and squidoo.

Good Luck everyone with your InfoBarrel articles!

Writing for InfoBarrel is so rewarding, let’s take me for example if you are a niche blogger you can use the site to not only get Dofollow backlinks pointing back to your niche blogs. But you can earn quite a little bit of extra money from adsense, amazon and other affiliate networks in the process.

If you are a person who is looking at writing articles for revenue sharing websites such as InfoBarrel to make money, you need to look at it as as business model. The main thing that you will be investing in when writing articles for InfoBarrel is your time.

Writing articles for most people takes time and what you do with this time is going to dictate whether or not you make pocket change with InfoBarrel or a few hundred or even thousands each month. The first thing that you will need to work out is a time table, try to calculate how many hours you have each week to dedicate writing articles for InfoBarrel.

Once you have done this you can then work out roughly how long it will take you to write each article. Let’s say it takes you around 30 minutes to create one article and you have got 10 hrs each week to spare on article writing. This means that your business model will be based around writing roughly 20 articles every week.

If this is your goal, 12 months later you are going to have a whopping 1040 articles published on InfoBarrel. If you have been smart, and written the articles mainly for the search engines benefit you are looking at a very nice passive income each month. That’s even if you never write an another article for InfoBarrel ever again.

To succeed with Infobarrel you need to keep plugging away, and adding articles to your account. You also need to squeeze every last penny out of each article that you write. This means adding affiliate links to it, linking to amazon products in the sidebar relating to the article.

Maximum earning potential is only going to happen if you write about things that people want to buy. People who are looking to buy are more likely to clicks on ads because they are in that buyers state of mind. If you write an Information article, these people are more likely going to read the article and click off the page once they have finished reading, without clicking on any of your ads. This is something that you don’t want to be doing, and it is a wasted opportunity at increasing your InfoBarrel Income.

Most InfoBarrel writers write articles and think that adsense is the only way to make money off there articles. These people are losing out on a lot of potential income. Adding affiliate links to your articles is a must if you are to increase your InfoBarrel income month after month.

Check out these articles on how to add affiliate links into your InfoBarrel articles using Amazon and Clickbank.

Adding amazon affiliate links to your InfoBarrel articles.

Adding Clickbank affiliate links to your InfoBarrel articles.

Basically you can use this method with any type of affiliate link to start making more money with InfoBarrel. Treat your InfoBarrel writing as a business model and I’m 99% certain that you will start making more money from InfoBarrel.

Writing for InfoBarrel is so addictive, I am really pleased with the way things are going for me. Income is rising FAST and I’m finally putting something together that I think is going to work. Like most of my regular readers know I find my keyword articles titles using the fantastic Micro Niche Finder keyword tool. This fantastic piece of software is providing me with an endless amount of money making keywords. I just haven’t got the time to write the articles, I plan on keep adding articles to the website. Because my main aim is to have around 1000 articles published on InfoBarrel by the end of 2010.

I reckon if I’m able to achieve this, I will be earning a fair amount of money from InfoBarrel and the best part is I will not need to write another article and I will still keep making money from InfoBarrel month after month. You invest quite a lot of time writing articles for InfoBarrel and at first when you don’t see the money rolling in.

The first thought is to quit, but the people who are going to be successful are the one’s that look at writing for InfoBarrel over the long term. Its all about managing your time as best you can, forums and other websites are addictive. But writing forum posts is not going to make you money, writing articles is if you are doing it right.

InfoBarrel Success is down to managing your time the best you can. Set up a system were you write 2 to 3 articles each day. If you was to write 2 articles every day for one year. One year later you would have 730 articles published and at the time of writing this article sitting in NUMBER TWO position for most articles published on InfoBarrel.

Talking about the top ten for most articles published, boy is it becoming a fight to stay there. Good move from InfoBarrel to introduce the TOP 100 Page. It has certainly motivated me to write more articles. But at the moment seeing a rise each day in Infobarrel earnings gives me the focus to keep moving forward with my Infobarrel plan.

The question I’m asking myself at the moment, can I make a full time income from Infobarrel. I think you can, but it is not going to happen overnight. For the average person like me and you who have day jobs to go to, it’s going to take at least 18 months to achieve. It all depends on how much money you need each month to live the life that you want to live. Some people only need $2000 per month, some will need $5000. It all depends on you, my main aim for Barrels Of Cash is to help everyone to start making money from InfoBarrel.

I’m no Internet Guru, but through trial and error with my InfoBarrel writing, I am going to create a system that anyone can start using to start making money. How much you make is down to the person, I plan on making big money one day from the site. Big money for me is $1000+ per month just from Infobarrel, this is because I have other income streams that I’m working on.

Good Luck With Your Infobarrel Writing!

Writing for InfoBarrel has many rewards, the main ones being dofollow backlinks and the chance to earn more online money through the means of adsense and affiliate products. I have been a writer on InfoBarrel since the middle of January 2010. And like most new InfoBarrel writers I have made mistakes along the way.

The main one being writing articles that are too short 350 to 400 words in length, from my experience so far 500+ word articles seem to be the best. I’ve got a few 1000+ word articles, but on the majority of my chosen keywords it would be a very time consuming job to write articles this long.

90% of your success on InfoBarrel is going to be down to how many articles you have published on the website. Don’t get me wrong you could have 1000 articles written on subjects that will not bring you traffic. Traffic is your key to making more money on InfoBarrel. If you are writing articles with SEO in mind, your half way there. Its now time to keep pumping out though articles month after month.

I’ve found by keep adding more articles each month, my Infobarrel earnings keep growing at a very high rate. Were 12 days into the month so far and I’ve almost earned what I did last month on adsense. This alone is enough motivation, to keep me writing for this fantastic website.

I do have my moments, were I go days, even weeks without adding new content. But I know to succeed I need to keep adding articles to the website.

The number one tip I can give you, is for you to gather around 20 to 30 keyword article phrases and secure these titles on Infobarrel. By setting up drafts for all your chosen keywords. Once you have done this you have now got 7 days to write these articles otherwise other people are free to use them once the 7 days have expired.

Knowing that you have only got 7 days to write these articles, keeps you motivated to make sure that you write the articles so that you can keep growing your InfoBarrel earnings.

The great thing about InfoBarrel at the moment is almost every title you choose will be available. I’ve wrote close to 250 articles so far and only once as an article title been unavailable. But as InfoBarrel grows, this is not always going to be the case. By finding InfoBarrel early like we have, we can grab all the money making keyword phrases now before anyone else does.

Another fantastic tip is to try to get yourself into the top ten for most articles published. Once you get yourself into the top ten it becomes a fight to stay there, and is really motivational to keep writing. Once you see yourself dropping out of the top ten, you say to yourself its now time to write more articles and get myself back there.

I set myself a challenge of getting myself into the top six before the end of May, but that challenge is looking like a failure at the moment. There are lots of writers, writing this month and what started as 40 articles to get into the top six is now looking at around 100. Its even looking like some of the most well known and popular InfoBarrel Writers are going to drop out of the top six soon.

Good Luck everyone with your InfoBarrel articles, and please leave a comment on what motivates you to keep writing more InfoBarrel articles each month.

The InfoBarrel challenge for this month is going to involve doing anything that is going to keep me motivated and focused to keep writing articles for InfoBarrel, because I run lots of other websites and blogs. I sometimes struggle to find the time to write for InfoBarrel. But I have a goal of making decent residual income from InfoBarrel month after month, and the only way to achieve this is to keep adding articles to the website.

On the homepage of InfoBarrel there is a top writer tab, if you click on this tab you are presented with a list of the top 12 writers with the largest amount of published InfoBarrel articles. I have said many times before if you can get yourself into the top 6 by the end of 2010, you will be earning a decent amount of cash from InfoBarrel. So with this in mind I have decided that this month’s challenge is about me trying to get myself into the top 6 writers for most article published.

I’m in the top ten already, but I’m around 40 articles away from being at position 6. So to succeed at this months InfoBarrel challenge I have to write at least 40 more articles, and hope that writers around me do not start churning out the articles. A part of me is hoping that they do, to give me the motivation to step up my game and try to get into the top 6 before the end of may.

My long term goal for 2010 is to get around 1000 articles published, if each article was only going to make me one dollar a month, my infobarrel income is going to be 1000+ every month. If I knuckle down and keep writing unique 500+ word articles, I’m almost certain that my Infobarrel income will be pushing 1000+ dollars per month.

This month I have seen a dramatic rise in amazon commissions, and the only thing I put this down to is with me applying cloaked affiliate links into my Infobarrel articles. I’ve been making an amazon sale nearly every day, and this is with minimal traffic from my Infobarrel articles. If I can get myself into the top 6, I reckon I will be on target for another 100%+ rise in my InfoBarrel income.

I’ve got a 15% head start already , because I managed to score over 30 points which increased my infobarrel income from 75% to 90%. I plan on doing this every month from now on, you won’t see me writing 2 to 3 articles. That would be stupid and I would be leaving a lot of money on the table, money which would be better in my pocket. It doesn’t matter how busy I get in the future I will keep trying my best to add articles to the site.

I want Infobarrel to grow, because if they grow my income grows. The only way we as Infobarrel writers can make the site grow is by adding more articles. If you are struggling to find motivation to write for the website, set yourself little challenges each month like I am and you will start writing more articles I’m sure of that.

April’s Infobarrel Challenge is now over, I am pleased to tell you that it has been a success and I’ve increased my adsense revenue by 151%. At one point I didn’t think I was going to do it, my earnings started off slowly, but I kept plugging away and kept writing articles. Whilst I didn’t write 100 articles, I did manage to write a respectable 56 articles for the month of April.

I don’t just write articles for Infobarrel I’ve got other websites and blogs to look after, and the 100 Infobarrel Article challenge certainly ate into a lot of my time. Was it worth it, well I achieved what I set out to do and that was to increase my adsense revenue my 100%. I managed to increase my adsense earnings by a mammoth 151%, which is good news. Plus I also seen a massive increase in my Info Barrel amazon commissions as well. I’m now making at least one amazon sale a day just from my InfoBarrel articles. My Info Barrel income is growing much quicker than I first imagined which I am over the moon about.

Because I have now added another 56 articles to my Infobarrel account, this is only going to grow my income as my articles age and Infobarrel gain more pagerank and web authority. I’m glad I set this challenge, otherwise I would of probably only of written about 20 articles on Infobarrel this month.

Growing your Infobarrel earnings is a numbers game, the more articles you have out there in cyberspace the more money you are going to make. I’ve got nearly 250 articles on Infobarrel now, my next step is to get to 500 and then eventually to 1000 Infobarrel articles.

My plan by the end of 2010 is to get my Infobarrel earnings into the thousands, I can only achieve this if I keep writing articles. I am currently thinking about what the challenge will be for May, one thing is for sure it will not involve writing another 100 articles. Now that the weather is getting hotter, I tend to play a bit more golf. Which means less time spent on the Internet and more time spent of the golf course.

But I still plan on writing around 50 articles, but I’m not sure what subjects these 50 articles are going to be on yet. Infobarrel does get addictive though, as you keep writing more articles your revenue keeps growing which is a fantastic incentive to keep writing.

Plus if you don’t write any articles your revenue share is 75% which is still fantastic. But by simply writing several articles each month you can up this to 90%. Some of the big earners on Infobarrel, do not write some months, but they are throwing lots of cash down the drain by not upping their revenue share.

Let’s say an Infobarrel writer earns $1000 a month, he could up this to $1150 a month by just writing those several articles that will not only earn the writer more cash each month. But is worth a whopping $150 extra. These writers might not have the time each month to write these articles, if that is the case then pay something to write the articles for you. I’m sure that several well written articles are going to cost you a lot less than the $150 that you will throw down the drain by not doing it. To become a successful Internet Marketer you simply can’t throw money down the drain like this.

I managed to increase my revenue share to 90% for next month and as my Infobarrel earnings grow bigger I would be an absolute fool not to keep it at 90% from now on. I’m not at the earning levels of the top earners yet. But if I keep working hard and writing articles, hopefully I will start catching them up very soon. I am doing a lot of experimenting, the bottom line is to squeeze as much money as you can out of each Infobarrel article.
