Cloaking Your Infobarrel Affiliate Links

Most affiliate links are ugly and lots of people who are web savvy will hover over the link, see that its an affiliate link and simply not click on it. To make money on infobarrel with your affiliate links you need PEOPLE TO START CLICKING ON YOUR LINKS.

Cloaking your affiliate links is going to ensure that you get as many clicks  as you possibly can. Most of the affiliate links within my infobarrel articles are with amazon. Because it is a website that is well respected and you can buy almost anything from them. Plus they sell lots of items that cost in the thousands. Only last week I made one amazon commission of nearly fifty dollars. Not bad for just inserting an anchor text amazon affiliate link into my infobarrel article.

If you are not inserting affiliate links into your infobarrel articles then you are losing out on lots of lost revenue.  I have been cloaking my links for a long time now, but I have only just starting doing it on infobarrel. WHY, because I’ve been a little lazy. It takes me roughly about three minutes maximum to create my cloaked links. But this small amount of time is going to benefit me greatly in the months and years to come, because the more cloaked affiliate links I have out there in cyberspace the more clicks I’m going to get which is going to lead to more money being made on infobarrel.

Let’s show you exactly why you need to cloak your infobarrel article affiliate links.

This is what a standard Amazon affiliate link looks like

Which one do you think is going to get the most clicks?  I know which one I would choose

To start cloaking your links you are going to need to get yourself an eye catching domain name. The above example is something I just thought up, try to use a domain which will look attractive to potential infobarrel article readers.  Something that screams out to be clicked, once you have got your domain name and web hosting sorted. You need to start cloaking your links.

Let’s show you how to do this with an amazon affiliate link.

Before you do anything though you will need to join Amazon’s affiliate program and grab your free link cloaker script from this link to create your cloaked links.

STEP ONE

If your article is about golf drivers, type golf drivers into the amazon search box. This will bring up all the search results. What you need to do then is click on the link to this page in the top left hand corner. Then you need to copy the link just like I have done in the bottom image.

Using the free link cloaker script, you how need to create your cloaked links. When you open the software you will need to click the link at the bottom which says Thanks, just show me the main application. Then click on simple cloak in the top left hand corner. Then all you need to do is add your amazon affiliate link to both boxes, then press create page. Make the title the same as the amazon product that you are promoting.  The image below shows you how its done.
