I really want to start seeing my earnings grow and at the moment the only way I see of achieving this is by going on a back linking frenzy. My plan is to create hundreds of back-links pointing back to my best performing InfoBarrel articles. The method of back linking I will be doing for this back link frenzy is social bookmarking, blog commenting and article directory submissions.

My plan is to create hundreds of back links and having looked at some of the competition in google for keywords that I’m targeting it is not going to take that many backlinks to start ranking on the first page of google. Most of my InfoBarrel articles are written for buyer traffic, by doing this I have been able to achieve a CTR OF 5%+. Which is OK in my opinion, the only thing stopping me getting more clicks is my traffic. So the month of  September I’m hoping to change this by getting first page ranking, by creating backlinks.

To be honest with you, I have hardly been doing any back linking to my InfoBarrel articles so far, but if you are a regular forum user on InfoBarrel, you will notice that the big earners on InfoBarrel are the members who back link their articles. Making money with InfoBarrel is a numbers game, the more articles you have the more money you are likely to make. But the number of backlinks pointing back to these articles, is much more important than simply throwing up a thousand InfoBarrel articles.

1) Persistence – If you think that you can throw up 50 articles, sit back and watch the money roll in, then you are sadly mistaken. Don’t get me wrong 50 articles, can make you quite a bit of money, that if written correctly with SEO in mind will make you money. But SEO is a bit hit and miss, some articles will rank easily in the search engines straight away and others won’t. Plus the keyword traffic estimation, isn’t always correct.  So you could be sitting at position one in google for a keyword phrase that get 2000 searches a month and you could still only be getting a few hits each day.

Persistence is the key, keep writing articles and don’t give up because your revenue is not growing. Aim to write 100 articles, then 200, then 500 and then 1000 articles. By the time you get to around 1000 articles on Infobarrel you should be earning yourself good money.  I’ve written over 200 articles now and my next step is to get to 500 articles, then to the magical 1000.

To start cloaking your links you are going to need to get yourself an eye catching domain name. The above example is something I just thought up, try to use a domain which will look attractive to potential infobarrel article readers.  Something that screams out to be clicked, once you have got your domain name and web hosting sorted. STEP ONE

If your article is about golf drivers, type golf drivers into the amazon search box. This will bring up all the search results. What you need to do then is click on the link to this page in the top left hand corner. Then you need to copy the link just like I have done in the bottom image.

STEP TWO

Using the free link cloaker script, you how need to create your cloaked links. When you open the software you will need to click the link at the bottom which says Thanks, just show me the main application. Then click on simple cloak in the top left hand corner. Then all you need to do is add your amazon affiliate link to both boxes, then press create page. Make the title the same as the amazon product that you are promoting.  The image below shows you how its done.

STEP THREE

You will now have an htm webpage, all you do how is add this file to your web servers root directory so that is shows up like this.
