Top Writers Infobarrel Challenge
The InfoBarrel challenge for this month is going to involve doing anything that is going to keep me motivated and focused to keep writing articles for InfoBarrel, because I run lots of other websites and blogs. I sometimes struggle to find the time to write for InfoBarrel. But I have a goal of making decent residual income from InfoBarrel month after month, and the only way to achieve this is to keep adding articles to the website.
On the homepage of InfoBarrel there is a top writer tab, if you click on this tab you are presented with a list of the top 12 writers with the largest amount of published InfoBarrel articles. I have said many times before if you can get yourself into the top 6 by the end of 2010, you will be earning a decent amount of cash from InfoBarrel. So with this in mind I have decided that this month’s challenge is about me trying to get myself into the top 6 writers for most article published.
I’m in the top ten already, but I’m around 40 articles away from being at position 6. So to succeed at this months InfoBarrel challenge I have to write at least 40 more articles, and hope that writers around me do not start churning out the articles. A part of me is hoping that they do, to give me the motivation to step up my game and try to get into the top 6 before the end of may.
My long term goal for 2010 is to get around 1000 articles published, if each article was only going to make me one dollar a month, my infobarrel income is going to be 1000+ every month. If I knuckle down and keep writing unique 500+ word articles, I’m almost certain that my Infobarrel income will be pushing 1000+ dollars per month.
This month I have seen a dramatic rise in amazon commissions, and the only thing I put this down to is with me applying cloaked affiliate links into my Infobarrel articles. I’ve been making an amazon sale nearly every day, and this is with minimal traffic from my Infobarrel articles. If I can get myself into the top 6, I reckon I will be on target for another 100%+ rise in my InfoBarrel income.
I’ve got a 15% head start already , because I managed to score over 30 points which increased my infobarrel income from 75% to 90%. I plan on doing this every month from now on, you won’t see me writing 2 to 3 articles. That would be stupid and I would be leaving a lot of money on the table, money which would be better in my pocket. It doesn’t matter how busy I get in the future I will keep trying my best to add articles to the site.
I want Infobarrel to grow, because if they grow my income grows. The only way we as Infobarrel writers can make the site grow is by adding more articles. If you are struggling to find motivation to write for the website, set yourself little challenges each month like I am and you will start writing more articles I’m sure of that.
